About the facility
The Zlatar restaurant was opened in 1985. It is owned by the Popovic family originating from Mileseva located at the foot of Mount Zlatar. The restaurant is famous for its domestic cuisine and regional specialities. Thanks to its delicious dishes, top-class service and polite staff, this restaurant acquired regular guests amd became one of the most popular restaurants in Belgrade. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is daily supplied with cheese, kajmak ( fresh cream cheese ), smoked ham, buckwheat, all kinds of meat ( pork, lamb, kid, veal ), brandies made of wild pears and plums grown in the valley of Lim, which are forwarded directly from Zlatar and its surroundings. We are in position to offer you: - the possibility of arranging business, family and other kinds of special meals, - cocktails on various occasions, - weddings, birthday parties, christenings, - anniversaries, senior proms, jubilees, - promotion parties. Small hall - 30 seats Main hall - 90 seats Summer garden - 80 seats There is a wide and protected car parking area. While having a business, family or intimate dinner, you can listen to excellent live pop, folk or Evergreen music. In the evening, the restaurant's pleasant environment and the whole atmosphere are embellished with soft acoustic music of the old city. First-class ensembles playing the old city music are the guests of the restaurant every night. The restaurant menu comprises numerous domestic dishes: hors d'oeuvres, cream-soups, spit-roasted meat, meat roasted in an iron or earthen pan, grilled dishes on coals, game dishes, salads and desserts. The restaurant offers you domestic brandy which is served in shot glasses - pear, apricot and plum brandies made according to traditional recipes of the masters from Zlatar, along with an extensive selection of red and white wine, beer and other drinks.
